Meljen's Designs Challenges

Hi again

Meljen's Images are one of my absolute favourites!  I got a freebie on her blog, and here is what I have done with it!

Her challenge : I see Double, was something else- you need to use the same image, but in double, on your card - how fun is that!

The paper, flowers and rhinestones are from my scrapbox.  My freebie image was coloured with copics.
I just love cupcakes ( you can see it in my figure - ha-ha).

Please leave a comment! It's always nice to hear from you.

Bunny Zoe's Craft Challenge 3 Vintage

Hello all bloggers

Hope you had a fantastic Sunday.

I had a terrible flu last week, and it kept in bed!!  But now I am all better and I can start making some cards again.

I just love Bunny Zoe's Craft Challenges.  The card I made is for their Challenge 3: Vintage

The punch and image I used, is from my "scrapbox".  The beautiful green paper is from W& M.
Of course, pearls is a must for vintage, and then I found these pretty roses from one of our shops nearby.  I coloured my image with copics.  As you see in all my cards, I love to ink!!!  I used green ink from Scrap Box.

I do hope you enjoy my card, and, please leave a comment, I just love reading them.

I'm still here!

Hi everyone

Just a short post to tell you I'm still here, although I did not take part in any challenge this week!!!  Can you believe it?

My husband and I am looking into a new venture, and that kept me busy the whole week.  I can't wait to tell you about it, but there are still some things to sort out -  AND we hope we will get if off the ground - there are still some answers we are waiting for, before we can make our final decision.

I'll see you in some challenges this week - hopefully! (kids homework - homework - homework - the teacher's love giving stuff mommy needs to help with)

Isabella's Challenge: Cut it out

Good morning to all bloggers

It is a lovely Sunday in Cape Town, and maybe the sun will show her face sometime today!

This is the card I made for Isabella's Cut out challenge :  I just love the apron, and when I saw the sale, well, who could resist buying more than one.
One of my favourite colour combinations is blue and brown, and  so I decided to use it on my card:
What did I use?
White, blue and brown American Cardstock
Isabella's image, coloured with my copics
Blue rhinestones
Blue flower cut-out, done with my cricut. (Wild card cartridge)
Blue ribbon and paper with stripes from my "scrapbox"

I do hope you enjoy my card.

Enjoy the rest of your day - happy scrapping!

Kenny K's Challenge: #2

Hi there

Thank you for all the lovely comments I receive on my cards.  It is absolutely wonderful and relaxing to go and sit down and to create a card.
My next card I made is for the Kenny K's Challenge #2.

The Kenny K image is just adorable and I used my copics to do the colouring.  My old faithful cricut came in handy for the cut-outs.  I used the cuttlebug to emboss my purple frames.  Of course, rhinestones, you just cannot make a card without them!  The paper is from my "scrapbox". (Believe me, my scrapbox is  full of different papers.)
The sketch was a nice challenge, and something different for me.

Hope you like her!
